Through ARW’s partnership with Asurion, they have created a unique bundled consumer electronics product that is only available through ARW. The product insures an unlimited number of home computing and home theater products in a home for one low monthly recurring fee.
Lowe's Companies, Inc. is a Fortune 500 American company that ranks 40th in Fortune 500 2018 list with a revenue of $68.62 billion and operates a chain of retail home improvement and appliance stores in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Founded in 1946 in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, as of February 2018, Lowe's and its related businesses operate more than 2,390 home improvement and hardware stores and employ over 310,000 people. ARW has established a unique relationship with Lowe's where ARW’s partners can purchase appliances, parts and even labor through the Lowe's for Pros division at very cost-effective rates. These orders are facilitated through a proprietary Lowe's Portal created and established by ARW as a module that is part of the MyARW software.
GE Appliances & Lighting is a subsidiary of Chinese conglomerate Haier and is one of the largest suppliers of appliances in the world. It was created in January 2004 when GE Consumer Products (founded in 1905) merged with GE Industrial Systems (founded in 1930). ARW’s relationship with GE Appliances allows the company to provide quality appliances to its home warranty program customers as replacement products, as well as offering its consumers deep discounts on upgrading their appliances and systems.
ADT is the largest security company in the United States and Canada, serving over 6.5 million customers. As of 2013 ADT held a 25% market share of the residential market and 13% of the small business market in the US. ADT maintains four monitoring stations in the United States and two in Canada. When a person purchases a home warranty, they are entitled to certain coverage as part of the policy. If a covered appliance or home system breaks down, such as your washing machine or your central heating system, you simply contact the warranty company and they will arrange for a licensed, pre-screened and pre-qualified technician to come to your home and assess the situation. If the issue is due to normal wear and tear or mechanical failure and is a covered item, then the appliance or system will be repaired or replaced within the terms and conditions of the plan. For covered repairs the homeowner will only have to pay a nominal service fee.
We have a 30-day wait period to help protect us from pre-existing conditions. This waiting period helps to keep plan costs down since we do not perform an inspection to determine the condition of your appliances and systems.
A home warranty can provide substantial protection for many appliances and systems within your home. Plans can be built and customized to allow homeowners to add a variety of items to their policy. Additional refrigerators, ice-makers, washers, dryers, pool, spa equipment, well pumps or additional heat/air conditioning units can be added. There are also additional options which cover electronics, sewer and water lines and more.
A home warranty does not cover any items in the event of natural or man-made disasters that can cause major damage to a home and its mechanical systems. They also do not cover events that a homeowner’s or flood insurance policy would cover, such as: tornadoes, hurricanes, fires, floods or theft. Warranty plans do not cover the physical structure of a home or personal belongings that are inside the home. A home warranty plan helps protect a homeowner from the high costs of unforeseen mechanical failures of their covered appliances and home systems. The plan provides licensed, prescreened, prequalifed service technicians to assess the situation. A home warranty plan will also help contribute towards any needed repairs or replacements if a mechanical breakdown is due to normal wear and tear.
When you request a repair you pay a trade service fee. The fee is the deductible for that service call. Please see your declaration of coverage for the amount of your trade service fee, or ask your customer support representative. For example, if you need both your air conditioner and your interior electrical system repaired, a trade service fee will be incurred for each repair needed (ie. an HVAC technician and an electrician).

What Does An ARW Warranty Cover?
Under our warranties, homeowners experience the convenience of having one provider cover all of their new and existing home appliances, systems and electronics. Through our whole-home base plans, homeowners have the ability to add optional coverage features. Our electronics protection plan offers unique features like accidental damage from handling and surge protection, which differentiate it from the majority of electronics warranties available. The electronics warranty also provides prepaid shipping and packaging to the repair center for electronics that need repairs.
Homeowners can review the terms of their policy for 30 days and decide if a plan is right for them. Within that 30-day window, customers can also change their plan if they decide they want to add more or less coverage. There are no long term commitments and customers are not locked into a plan. Customers can choose month-to-month, quarterly or annual payment plans.
